In furtherance of his drive to reposition the administration for effective service delivery, Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, on Monday inaugurated eight newly appointed commissioners and seven Special Advisers with a charge to them to avoid any form of distraction in the discharge of their duties.

BREAKING: Supreme Court upholds election of Gov Bello of Kogi State

The Supreme Court on Monday affirmed the election of Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State.

A seven - man panel of the court led by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Tanko Muhammad , made this declaration in two judgments dismissing the separate appeals filed by the Peoples Democratic Party and the Socialist Democratic Party .

Ekiti MOJ Launches Public Awareness Campaign

The Ekiti State Ministry of Justice today, August 31, announced the launch of a public awareness  programme aimed at raising awareness among residents of the State about services offered  by the Ministry and how to use them. 

This was disclosed by the Special Assistant to the Attorney-General & Commissioner for Justice, on Public Education, Media and Communications, Olalekan Suleiman,  during an interactive session with the media. 

Nigeria records 138 new cases of coronavirus

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) says 138 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 53,865.
