Former NDDC MD Forfeits N250Million To Government

A former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), has forfeited a sum of N250,000,000 (Two Hundred And Fifty Million Naira only) to the Federal Government.

Ekiti lady colludes with friend, fakes kidnap to extort money from parents

The Police in Ekiti State have arrested a lady, Mary Idris, for allegedly faking her own kidnap on August 9, 2020, with a view to extorting money from her parents.


The state Commissioner of Police, Tunde Mobayo, said the lady was “arrested alongside her accomplice, Victor Olawuse, in Akure, the Ondo State capital, where she had gone from Ekiti State to carry out the act.”

Man, 31 Sentence For Raping 9-year-old Girl In Edo

A  Magistrate Court sitting in Igarra, headquarter of Akoko-Edo local government area Wednesday sentenced a 31-year-old man identified as Sunday Akpeji, to nine years in the correctional centre without an option of fine for raping a seven-year-old girl.
