BREAKING: Boko Haram Attacks Convoy Of Borno Governor, Zulum, In Baga

The convoy of Babagana Zulum, governor of Borno state, was attacked at Baga, a town in the state, on Wednesday.

A security source told TheCable that the governor was on his way to some internally displaced persons (IDP) camps in the northern part of Borno when the incident happened.

BREAKING: NECO begins Oct 5, NABTEB Sept 21 – FG

The Federal Government has said the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations (SSCE) organised by the National Examination Council (NECO) for SS3 pupils will commence on October 5 and end on November 18, 2020.

Sallah: FG Declares July 30, 31 As Public Holiday

The Federal Government has declared Thursday, July 30 and Friday, July 31 as public holidays to mark this year’s Eid-el-Kabir Celebration.

This was disclosed in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Georgina Ehuriah.

FG Extends Phase Two Of Eased Lockdown By One Week

The Federal Government has extended the phase two of the ease of lockdown in the country by another one week.

Mr Boss Mustapha, the Chairman of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19, announced this on Monday.

He made the announcement at the briefing of the PTF which held in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

BREAKING: WAEC starts August 17, says FG

The 2020 West African Examination Council (WAEC) will commence on August 17, the Federal Government has declared.
To this end, it asked secondary schools to reopen on August 4, 2020 for students in exit classes to sit for the exams.

FG reopens secondary schools August 4 for SS3 students

All secondary schools in the country are to résumé academic activities August 4, 2020, the federal government has said.

But the resumption, according to the Federal Ministry of Education, would only be for SS3 students writing the West African Examinations Council, WAEC and the National Examinations Council, NECO.
