The Honourable representing Ijero, Ekiti West and Efon Federal constituency in the House of Representative, Abuja, Hon. Barr. Omowumi Olubunmi Ogunlola MHR has joined well wishers across the globe to felicitate with Muslim faithfuls as they celebrate this year's Eid El Filtri.
The Honourable member in her Eid-el-Fitri message on Sunday, congratulated Muslim faithfuls on the completion of the 30-days fasting and prayers, stressing that the spiritual exercise had brought them more closer to almighty Allah.
She urged Muslims to live in love, peace and harmony with one another as brothers and sisters. She noted that Ramadan was a season of love and sacrifice.
Hon. Ogunlola urged them to celebrate Eid-el-Filtri with modesty in view of the ravaging coronavirus pandemic which has disrupted socio- economic and religious activities across the globe.
She also urge all Muslim faithfuls in her constituency to cooperate with government by adhering to restriction orders and other guidelines for the COVID-19 in the Claus of them them celebrating the Ramadan festival, that success would be achieved in the fight against the pandemic with the adherence of all and sundry.
