Corruption in Nigeria: We’ll go after anyone involved – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday restated his commitment to the corruption fight in Nigeria.

He declared that the battle was without fear and would be taken to anyone.

Buhari spoke at the graduation of the National Defence College (NDC) Course 28 on Thursday in Abuja.

Minister of Defence, Maj.-Gen Bashir Magashi (rtd.) represented him.

Buhari stated that the path chosen was in the interest of Nigeria.

“On corruption, we are more determined than ever before to stay on the path we have chosen in the interest of our dear nation to fight corruption without fear no matter who is involved,” NAN quoted him as saying.

The president, however, said there was still work to be done in terms of the economic impact on the citizens.

He cited employment generation, poverty eradication and the general conditions of living.

Rear Admiral, Markson Kadiri, NDC Commandant, disclosed that the college has trained 2,340 participants in the last 28 years.

Kadiri said 107 graduates including 18 foreigners were trained for Course 28.
