Indigenes of Igbaraodo and Ogotun-Ekiti working in Ekiti State House of Assembly has expressed joy in the emergence of Hon. Tolu Ige as Leader of Business of 7th Assembly. They seek better working synergy with the lawmaker in whom they believe he will perform well and development Ekiti South West Constituency II in his four-year mandate.
They made the assertions on Tuesday during a courtesy visit to the lawmaker in his office. According to Mrs Funmilayo Adams who led the team said they are joyfully overwhelmed on Hon. Ige emergence as Leader of Business amongst his colleagues while expressing their readiness to work with him for productive engagements.
Speaking further, Mrs Adams urged Hon. Ige to be friendly with staffs of the assembly without sentiment of constituency attachment. While soliciting his support in making laws for the betterment of workers in the State particularly House of Assembly Commission workers.
Responding, Ige expressed happiness for their visit. He promised the visitors his utmost readiness to work in his capacity as Leader of Government Business to improve the welfare of Ekiti State workers through functional legislation. While appealing to the entire workers of the state to give maximum support for Governor Oyebanji's led administration in Ekiti state for smooth and workers friendly welfare packages. "The relationship between workers and government has to be symbiotic, it will in turn bring mutual benefit and healthy governance", Ige added
The team presented a plague for Hon. Ige on behalf of igbara-Odo and Ogotun-Ekiti indigenes working in the Ekiti state house of assembly and assembly commission.
