As we all know that jamb has released the results of many candidates who sat for the exam. It is crucial to know this important facts.
For parents: It is a normal thing for parents to be anxious that their wards would do well in technical examination s like jamb. But please do remember that amongst those students who sat for the exam,there is an artist who doesn't need to understand mathematics. There is a musician whose chemistry marks won't matter. There is an entrepreneur who doesn't care about literature in English. There is a sport person whose physical fitness is more important than their score in physics. If your child does get a high mark,that's great! But if he or she doesn't,please don't take away their self confidence and their dignity away from them. Tell them it's OK,its just an exam. They are cut out for much bigger things in life. Tell them no matter what they score in jamb,that you still love them. Please do this and when you do watch your children do great in life. One exam or low mark in jamb won't take away their dreams and talents. And please do not think that doctors and engineers are the only happy people in the world.
For you students: Exams are important but there are not everything,remember what Aliya's father said in sweet sixteen that,"passing an examination is never enough in life". Jamb scores and waec grades are good but they don't define you. Don't let one exam or score define your whole future. There is so much potential in you. And remember what Albert Einstein said,"everyone is a genius,but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree,it will spend its whole life believing that it's stupid. Don't let other people's standard of success become yours.
