United States Of America President, Donald Trump on Thursday claims he has evidence that the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 originated in a Wuhan laboratory.
Although, he has declined to give specifics evidence backing his claims.
Speaking at a White House daily news conference, the US president said China either deliberately let it spread or could not stop the spread of the virus.
Mr Trump said he feels confident the virus came from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, adding that US authorities were "looking at it very, very strongly".
"We're going to see where it is - we're going to see where it comes from," he said. "There's a lot of theories."
"“And I think that the World Health Organization should be ashamed of themselves because they’re like the public relations agency for China,” Trump added.
Trump suggested that information from the investigation into the origins of the virus was forthcoming, saying opaquely that China has been “somewhat transparent” and raising the possibility Beijing may have “made a mistake.”
