Ooni set to marry Temitope Adesegun — 3rd wife in two months

Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, is set to tie the knot with Temitope Adesegun, his new lover.

An assistant to the Ooni’s director of media confirmed the wedding on Sunday.

The assistant said the wedding ceremony will hold in Lagos on Monday.

“The report about the marriage is true. I also heard it will be held in Lagos tomorrow,” the source said.

Efforts to ascertain the wedding details proved abortive as Moses Olafare, Ooni’s media director, wasn’t reachable.

Adesegun studied Linguistics and had a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos.

She worked in the private sector as an administrative executive and public relations officer.

In 2009, Adesegun became the personal assistant to Adenrele Adeniran-Ogunsanya, the secretary to the Lagos state government.

She was there till 2011.

Adesegun currently leads the poverty alleviation team managed by Ooni.

Her wedding will be coming a few days after Ooni of Ife married Ashley Adegoke, a chartered accountant.

In September, the monarch tied the knot with Mariam Anako, who is identified as an oil and gas executive.

His marriage to Anako comes a few weeks after Ooni reportedly tied the knot with Elizabeth Akinmuda and Tobi Philips.

Ogunwusi has had three failed marriages in the past.

He was previously married to Adebukola Bombata in 2008 but the marriage failed.

Ooni’s marriage to Zaynab Wuraola Otiti in 2016 also failed due to irreconcilable differences.

The monarch would later marry Naomi Silekunola in October 2018. But last year, Naomi announced their separation.
