Akinwumi Adesina has been re-elected as the President of the African Development Bank President on Thursday.
With this election, Adesian will spend another five years managing and supervising the affairs of the bank.
Ekiti State House of Assembly had on Tuesday approved the names of seven persons nominated by Fayemi for commissioners.
They are, Mr Akin Omole (Oye Ekiti Council), Chief Oladiran Adesua (Ekiti East), Dr Olabimpe Aderiye, (Ido/Osi), Alhaja Maryam Ogunlade (Emure), Dr Oyebanji Filani (Ikole), Olabode Adetoyi (Moba) and Mrs. Iyabo Fakunle-Okhieme (Ilejemeje).
Dipe said “The incoming commissioners, special advisers and board members will further help the administration in the interpretation of the policies and principles. They will help to further execute the projects of the administration which are based on the five pillars.”
The governor’s aide, who said they were carefully selected and experienced, said, “They will bring vibrancy and new lease of life.” (Punch)
